# Planetary Land (On-Chain Asset)
Available through planetary land auctions, this limited edition on-chain asset represents ownership of the planets in the galaxy.
The size of a planetary land determines the maximum number of planetary buildings that can be placed within.
Planetary land can be rented out. Renting a parcel of land consumes tokens and a certain percentage of tax.
Renting planetary land does not grant the right to use any buildings on the planet.
