Player as the Protagonist

After the prologue chapter of the game, players will embark on exploration in the Kepler system as "Evan Williams." In the prologue, Evan's sister, Vanessa Williams, uncovered damning evidence of trade between the Human Interstellar Commonwealth and Urslan after arriving as the second wave of human immigrants in the Kepler-452 star system.

To conceal their secrets, the Human Interstellar Commonwealth and Urslan launched a war in the Kepler system. This war concluded with the defeat of the United Colonies, and Vanessa disappeared into space after her spacecraft was hit by a tracking missile. Evan, as the commander of the the United Colonies, drifted alone in space for two years in his exosuit equipped with oxygen and nutrient systems before being rescued.

The driving force for players in the game's narrative is the need to rebuild the strength of the United Colonies and uncover the secrets Vanessa discovered at the time, as well as locate the "evidence" she uploaded to the cloud.
