Towns and cities can be conquered through conquest battles, or built/purchased under certain circumstances.

You need to manage these hubs well and make them safe and prosperous in order to gain the support of the people.

Find the chief executive in a city and discuss with her the development strategy of the city. This allows adjusting development preferences so that the economy or the military will develop according to your plans.

With sufficient funds, hospitals, universities, and other facilities can be built. While making your people happier, they will also play a particularly important role in the growth of your faction's strength. For example, universities can discover new breakthroughs and blueprints through scientific research. Blueprints can then be used to craft new weapons, ships, or structures.

Every (in-metaverse) month you can collect tax based on the economic development level of a city. The items sold in the city will become more numerous and more advanced as its economic development advances. Whereas more advanced military development grants the city stronger fortifications and defenses.

Your cities could be attacked by your enemies. You can defend it yourself, or send a defensive force led by one of your companions.
