Widely accumulate resources and gradually you will become king. After your faction strength has developed to a certain level and you have the required number of cities, you can establish your own nation!
You will need to determine the country's political system: dictatorship, republic, etc. This will directly affect your future development and relations with other nations. For example, if you would like to remain a warrior after you establish your nation, then choosing a cabinet system will reduce the management cost of various affairs, but relations with dictatorship nations will suffer.
Then, as with cities, the development direction of your nation needs to be determined. This can be changed at any time, but the process will vary depending on the political system.
The next step is to appoint a companion to assist you. If the country has a feudal system, it needs to grant territory to the vassals. If the country is a republic, it needs to form a cabinet.
The challenge of establishing a nation is onerous, so you can choose entrepreneurship instead! Running a corporation well, however, is no easy feat.
You can create a corporation at any time. Corporations can conduct a variety of business activities, such as real estate, finance, industrial production, energy production, resource harvesting, etc.
You need to gather business intelligence frequently for your corporation to succeed. For example, if you open a brothel in a religious country, although you might make a lot of money, the country's favorability for you will be greatly reduced.
The galaxy is in turmoil and the people are plunged into misery. Pirates and robbers are everywhere. Many destitute people drift along in the galaxy and become space pirates.
You can catch fish in troubled waters. When you defeat pirates, you might find a pirate banner and clothes. When you use this disguise, you can go around robbing fleets and extorting the innocent, and this will not reduce your favorability with other forces.
Other forces will, however, send powerful military fleets to suppress outlaws, so you must use caution.
Of course, if you are confident enough, you can establish your own criminal faction. It's a path with no return, though it could be a profitable path.
