# Explorer’s Medal (On-Chain Asset)

While mining resources around planetary land or exploring Space Rifts, only if the player has equipped an Explorer’s Medal is there a chance for tokens to drop.

&#x20;The Explorer’s Medal loses some durability when the player engages in one of these activities.

&#x20;When the durability of the medal is zero, it cannot be used. [Dark Matter](/whitepaper/the-blockchain/dark-energy.md) can be used to repair the durability of the medal.
